Blogspot has a very stupid widget for "Blog Archives"

I have a blog, using Google's Blogspot. Overall, it is very good, and serves my purpose. However, I have one very huge complaint. THE "ARCHIVE" WIDGET SHOWS LIST OF PAST POSTS BY DATE, RATHER THAN POST TITLE. This is stupid. I have over 200 posts in my blog. If my reader wants to read my post about my trip to Lviv, they have to search through 200 pages of dates, rather than simply looking up a list in "Archives" which shows the title "Lviv". I have been searching the web for a solution. Everything I have found is for outdated versions of Blogspot. I have asked for help at google blogspot Help - no help at all. You need a PhD in computer programming to follow their instructions. I KNOW IT IS POSSIBLE TO SHOW ARCHIVED POSTS BY TITLE RATHER THAN DAT, BECAUSE I HAVE SEEN IT DONE. I AM WILLING TO PAY ANYONE WHO CAN HELP ME FIX THIS PROBLEM - IT IS VERY STUPID AND ANNOYING. CAN ANYONE TELL ME A REASONABLE EXPLANATION WHY BLOGSPOT ARCHIVES ONLY SHOWS "DATES" RATHER THAN TITLES OF POSTS??? WHAT ADVANTAGE IS THERE TO THAT???? I am a computer USER, not a programmer, not a code writer. I need simple instructions. I would be eternally grateful to anyone who can help.
